DDoS (denial of service attacks) are attacks against a server or website, where the attacker uses thousands of infected computers to bring your site and app...
I discovered Javapipe Forex VPS hosting and jumped into their hosting plan. Their exceptional services helped me establish my business. After using JavaPipe service I expanded my business by adding DedicatedCore to my list which offers full root access, DNS management, and the best forex vps service with low latency. I would proudly say that both my Forex VPS providers are the best and has top-notch service.
Support averages response on 1-5 hours. My DDoS Proxy IP went down when it got attacked and they said they fixed it. They advertised a burst of 30GBPS and when the DDoS attack came with a volume of 8 GBPS the proxy IP VPS shut down. Also after they fixed it when attack come the proxy IP becomes unresponsive. I receive no traffic on my backend server. So no clients can connect for 1-3 minutes or what the duration of the attack is, its very annoying because the ddos attack come for almost every 15 minutes and we cannot connect for 3 minutes its very disruptive. And the solution they proposed is just to switch to their RO facility. I came to javapipe because of latency making me switch to RO means I could have just searched for another provider.
USA location DDoS protection is good for most people but doesn't work for everyone. I get kind of tired of people ordering expecting perfect ddos protection without really understanding what goes on. The attack that crippled your service was only 8gbit. The Chicago location has a filter delay of 30-90 seconds and if your backend can't survive that short period we can't help you. RO location was suggested because we've been able to block almost immediately there. But again - its all best effort. You can try and if it works great if not, feel free to go elsewhere. We don't claim to have the perfect solution. Again its all best effort.
Also note that we provide 3 day money back guarantee. We provided you with 100% refund because it didn't work. We acknowledge that it doesn't work for everyone.
I have been with you before, the support was great that time even offered custom filtering and such, also even analyzed my traffic. That time I stayed the whole time because its hard to leave as the support was good and promising. This time it was terrible as I raised it 4 hours before there was a good reply from the real support that can see what is really happening. My backend server can survive that, as I have said I receive no traffic from your proxy IP during attacks and there was an event that the proxy IP even went down. Im not imposing that you're perfect, maybe its just the growth spurt of your company that is why it is like this. All I say is you can do better, maybe like how you do your support before.
John - I looked at your support tickets and they've all been answered within 20 minutes max. Perhaps you're talking about the sales chat system on the site? We don't have full coverage for sales and we have auto response to use our help desk instead where we have 24/7 coverage.
I am using MySQL, Java and JSPs. The setup went ok. The documentation is a little lacking. I also registered a domain. They sold my phone number and now I have been inundated with web service solicitations. NOT COOL!
Hi Judy. Thank you for leaving a review! I just want to make clear that we never sell any personal data of our customers. When you register a domain with us, you need to provide certain details, such as your name, address and email that will be shown publicly in the WHOIS information of your domain. This is normal and the case with every hosting provider or domain registrar. However, if you don't want your personal details to be publicly tied to your domain, you have the option to select "ID protection" when you register a domain. This way it's registered under the details of an escrow and not your own.
