I switched from Wordpress to WiX when I discovered them in 2011 or thereabouts. I’ve seen WiX grow with their services, offerings, technology and more! Almost every one of my customers moved their websites to WiX! Yes, I designed their websites. Support? In the beginning it wasn’t the best! Now, they’re by far the absolute best! Friendly, patient and very helpful. I’m glad I’m with WiX!

I'm using Wix on a daily bases for my 2CENTS UX Design & Strategy site and blog ( https://2cents.co.il ), and I must admit that although the interface is great, and the themes are awesome, there's something disturbing in their sales mechanics (pushing you again and again to upgrade, even though I'm already a paying customer), as well as their offering within the free tools.
It seems like they did the minimum on each feature, just to check each box, and not invest into upgrading and offer a really exciting and rich modules, while promoting 3rd parties to develop premium features, e.g. the gallery module.
I've monitored it for the past 2 years, and nothing changed there (no new capabilities or designs...) It comes with a lame design, very minimal, and if you need something that looks better, you need to pay for a premium feature...

Pros: • I can advertise and market my services. • Really happy with it.Cons: • none.

I just used Wix to blog and post articles first. The site was mostly for myself, but after a while, I decided to market my skills in photography. Still, I used Wix since Im already comfortable with the site and I really liked its simplicity.

Pros: • Simple database. • Great tool to exhibit my photos. • Comprehensive enough for non-technical people. • Variety of designs to choose from.Cons: • Can get confusing sometimes, but manageable.

Wix is a really big help to me. Creating my own website couldn't get simplier than this. I got to make a functional site with only the basic knowledge of computer and a little arts.

Creating my site got difficult at times. Somehow I managed to make it as simple as it is functional. A few pictures here and there and lots of texts for information. It was okay. I got a few compliments from my friends.

We have a business that is soon to open in physical store in January. Even before our store is not yet operating, we receive orders in advance, thanks to our online exposure. We even got to have our site running for free. My wife created it and finished it in less than a week!
