In September 2025, their server went down for almost a full week. My website was offline during that time, which meant my students couldn’t access my sewing courses, and I lost valuable business and credibility. Communication was poor — vague updates, no clear timeline, and very little transparency about what was actually happening behind the scenes.
When everything finally came back online, the compensation I was offered was a single month’s refund ($67.56). That amount doesn’t even begin to cover the stress, lost income, and the hours of work I had to put in to try and manage around their downtime.
If you’re a small business owner who relies on your website being available 24/7, I would think carefully before choosing Crucial. Reliability and proper customer support should be a given with web hosting — and sadly, that hasn’t been my experience here.
